This recipe is simple, but soooo tasty and healthy. No frying because I hate it. And there is a pinch of sweetness from the coconut sugar. The coconut sugar is one of the seasoning that Indonesians often use in their dish. Its tasted more caramel-y than white sugar and has low glycemic index. Coconut sugar is usually shaped into a block.

Semur ayam is a part of Indonesian cuisine. I dont know how to call it in English, so I think it could be Indonesian chicken stew. The word semur itself is defined as a dish with kecap manis or thick sweet soy sauce, special sauce that a lot of Indonesians and southeast asian people use in their meals. Perhaps do you know nasi goreng? We use kecap in nasi goreng, too.

Hello, here is another easy recipe from Hayu Cooking. This week I made chicken and vegetables wonton wrappers. Sometimes people call it wonton wrappers, shumai, siomay, or siomai. This appetizer is originally from China and there are some variations and adaptations from another countries. I will introduce you the Indonesian version. Well, not really Indonesian version because I also change some ingredients. Maybe you can say this one as Hanis version. Hehe. 😀
